Healing your Innerchild
INNERSTAR HYPNOTHERAPY - GOLD COAST

Your inner child refers to the younger part of you that formed through early life experiences and relationships. It can hold memories, emotions, beliefs, and patterns shaped by both nurturing and difficult experiences, while also carrying innocence, creativity, sensitivity, and wonder.

For some people, childhood is not remembered as carefree or emotionally safe. If you experienced neglect, trauma, or emotional pain, this younger part of you may still carry feelings of vulnerability, fear, sadness, or unmet emotional needs.

Often, emotional pain is pushed down as a way of coping and protecting yourself. Over time, these unresolved patterns can continue to show up in adult life through relationship difficulties, low self-worth, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty meeting your own needs.

You may wish to consider inner child-focused hypnotherapy if some of the following feel familiar:

  • I often feel inadequate or not good enough

  • I tend to people-please

  • I feel like I do not belong or that something is wrong with me

  • I struggle with addictive or compulsive patterns

  • I fear abandonment or become overly attached in relationships

  • I find it hard to say no

  • I feel uncomfortable expressing emotions such as sadness

  • When I feel angry, my reactions can become intense

  • I find it hard to trust others or myself

  • I feel overly responsible for other people

  • I put pressure on myself to achieve

  • I struggle to let go of things

  • I avoid conflict wherever possible

  • I never felt emotionally close to my mother and/or father

  • I feel anxious when doing something new

  • I feel guilty standing up for myself

  • I am highly self-critical

  • I tend toward perfectionism

Inner child hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind to help reset unhelpful emotional patterns, support healing, and strengthen self-worth. Many clients find this work helps them feel more emotionally aware, more grounded, and better able to respond to life and relationships in healthier ways.

Inner child hypnosis involves a deeply relaxed hypnotic state in which the subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive change, emotional healing, and new supportive patterns.

As healing begins, many people notice a greater sense of safety, self-understanding, and emotional wholeness. This work can support a more compassionate relationship with yourself and a stronger sense of inner stability.
