Psychosocial Recovery coaches work with individuals with psychosocial disability to:
Develop a recovery-enabling relationship and guide you on your recovery journey
Identify individual goals and develop strategies to achieve them
Build individual capacity, increase recovery skills, resilience and decision making
Support to connect and navigate mental health services
Self advocacy - increase awareness of choice and control
Support to make connections with family, friends and community
Help you get the best out of your NDIS plan
Keep services, including clinical teams, informed of your choices and the way you prefer to be supported
Provide ongoing support to help your progress towards your recovery goals, focusing on your strengths and encouraging optimism and healthy living
